My amazing beautiful thoughtful best friend took me out to Redemption for my Birthday last week (thank you Jaded I love you) and it was so good I had to write a blog about it!
I’ve been vegetarian since February 2017 and although there are plenty of veggie options at restaurants nowadays, I do love to eat at places that are strictly vegetarian because I find their dishes are more creative and tasty.
Some of my favourite veggie places to eat are..

Palm Vaults

..and now Redemption! 🙂
Not just because of their food but for their service and hospitality too.
All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly and helped us loads when it came to choosing our food and drinks, it took us ages haha..
By the way everything here is vegan, wheat free and non-alcoholic.
These are the dishes and drinks we tried:

£3.50 Sweet potato chunky fries (the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had, along with this yummy mustard mayo type sauce, I would travel back here just for these haha)

£7.50 Black bean chimichurri – spicy black beans with vine tomatoes, coriander and lime topped with avocado and chimichurri

Small £8.50 Main £14.50 Zucchini pasta con pesto – raw courgette spaghetti tossed in basil and pumpkin seed pesto, rocket and cherry tomatoes, topped with brazil nut ‘parmesan’

£7.50 Ruby forest gateau – a layered gateau of rich chocolate mousse on a nutty chocolate base with raspberries and crème Chantilly (their banoffe pie looks so good too, will definitely try that next time)

£4.95 each Crantini and Pina Colada

Glass £4.00 Bottle £18.50 Bees Knees sparkling wine – beautifully crafted alcohol-free sparkling wine with only 33 calories per glass, choose rose or white (we went for the white and it was the best alcohol-free wine I’ve ever tasted, alcohol-free wines can be really hit and miss and that’s why I usually stick to Appletiser, but Bees Knees absolutely smashed it with this one!)

Thank you Redemption for my lovely cake, candle and Birthday wishes, we had a wonderful day and will be back again soon for sure 🙂

Here’s some more pics and info re Redemption, along with their website:

Redemption Bar is lead by two empowered female entrepreneurs:  Catherine Salway – with a background in business at Virgin; and Andrea Waters – an experienced restauranteur, vegan and raw chef.
Why should socialising always be at the expense of your health?  This is the question we asked ourselves when starting to create the idea of Redemption. And so we created London’s healthiest restaurant, serving up vegan, sugar-free, and wheat-free food with an alcohol-free bar.
The two buzzy spaces in Notting Hill and Shoreditch are being described by many as the best vegan restaurants in London. Our motto is ‘spoil yourself without spoiling yourself’, and our ethos is rooted firmly in caring for the planet, its animals, and ourselves.
Andrea brings exciting and delicious menus to life in order to give people maximum nutrition and taste. We try to delight even the most sceptical meat lovers and to challenge the convention that healthy food is boring or lacking finesse. So, as well as our delicious alcohol-free cocktails, we serve a full range of fresh, super-healthy dishes, including raw desserts that are good for you. So even if you’ve been putting Keith Richards or Shaun Ryder to shame recently, we’ll have you back on top form in no time!

PS. If you’re a lover of rooftop drinks like me and you fancy going somewhere else after (the Redemption Shoreditch location), I would recommend Sushi Samba. It’s on the 38th floor overlooking the city, the glass lift is an experience in itself haha. Me & Jaded went for the virgin versions of these which were both delicious:

Fruity, Bitter, Sweet
An updated SUSHISAMBA classic with Russian Standard Platinum vodka, strawberry,
grapefruit and guava shaken with rhubarb bitters, lime and sugar. Served ‘up’.

LYCHEE COOLER (our favourite)
Creamy, Fresh
Grey Goose vodka, elderflower and vanilla sugar. Shaken with lychee juice and coconut milk.
Served long.
