“Let food by thy medicine and medicine by thy food. Our mission is to help raise consciousness around food. We are part of a community promoting a healthy lifestyle. This is a movement that promotes plant-based, organic eating and a chemical-free approach to increase health and wellness for both us and the planet.”
I love an afternoon tea, and I’ve always been intrigued by the Farmacy High Tea because it’s 100% plant based and free from dairy, gluten, refined sugars, additives and chemicals. Oh and it comes with CBD (stands for cannabidiol) truffles which appealed to me too as I haven’t ever tried them before and I’ve heard so many positive things!
While we’re on the subject of CDB oil, I would like to do a quick shout out to Love Hemp..
..for being so reassuring and helpful recently 🙂
I contacted them on behalf of someone I know who’s been diagnosed with cancer and they couldn’t have been more supportive and caring.
They gave me lots of valuable and beneficial guidance and information when it came to their products/dosage etc. so thank you Love Hemp, I really appreciate your time and company values.
Ok so back to the tea. For £42 per person we start off with “R&R” heart chakra rose infusion & fresh raspberries shaken with local artisanal vodka & lemon (but we went for the alcohol free version).
Then onto the food..
CBD truffles tahini & dark chocolate
CBD truffles basmati & coconut – my favourite
Lemon ‘meringue’ pie
Banana & maca caramel cake
Layered strawberry & cashew mousse
Chocolate & praline ganache
“Farmacy Apple” – made from chocolate, looks so good!
Scones, seasonal house made jam and coconut clotted ‘cream’ – another favourite
Smoked carrot, chickpea blini and dill raw quiche
Pickled fig pulled jackfruit taco
Fresh chilli, coriander, cucumber & pea sandwiches
..also served with hemp leaf tea, or a choice of Farmacy house infusions. We went for the Ceylon tea with oat milk (the closest to English breakfast tea) and the beetroot & cinnamon tea, a blood cleanser which boosts the lymphatic system.
Here’s some more info re CBD from their website:
CBD stands for Cannabidiol, one of many cannabinoid type molecules present within the cannabis plant, especially known for its medicinal qualities. Although some of these cannabinoids are known to be intoxicating (THC), CBD is completely non psychoactive, meaning it does not produce any such effects. Our CBD is sourced legally by licensed growers and producers and undergoes advanced extraction and purification methods that are organic across the board to ensure maximum purity and potency, and to ensure no THC or any other impurity remains. CBD has been shown in a number of studies to be beneficial at helping a variety of common conditions like inflammation, pain relief and even helping enhance memory and cognitive function amongst many other things. Cannabinoids in the body are known to help regulate many functions, including the immune system.

Farmacy is one of my favourite veggie/vegan restaurants in London.
I love everything – the entrance of plants and crystals, the lighting, the layout, the service and of course the delicious food & drinks.
I especially love their farmaceutical syringe shots, such a fun way to get your vitamins!
All of the dishes were 10/10, everything we ate and drank was vegan and I would order them all again 🙂
The pizzetta was a lot better than it looked (my photo doesn’t do it justice) haha!
Chef’s Green Curry was delicious, I’m not a fan of coriander but couldn’t taste it at all.
The sauce of the Tagliatelle ai Funghi dish was so yummy and creamy, couldn’t believe it was vegan, I want the recipe!
Looking forward to visiting again soon 🙂
